Mr. Abdol Moabery is the founder and serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of GA Telesis, LLC, now an affiliate of Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Century Tokyo Leasing. Since its inception, Mr. Moabery has led the company to major growth milestones becoming a pioneer in solutions-based development for airlines, MROs and OEMs. GA Telesis’ global operations span the globe covering the areas of aircraft and leasing, with an asset portfolio valued over $1 billion. The company is also the leading end-of-life solutions provider for aircraft having disassembled over 200 aircraft and 500 jet engines in just the past ten years. In the past 12 months, GA Telesis entered into a joint venture with Air China called GAIC thus creating the first ever end-of-life solutions company in mainland China. GAIC performed the first ever part-out of a Boeing 747-400 this year in Beijing. GA Telesis is now the only company to provide such solutions in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Earlier this year, the Company also acquired Finnair Engines Services, now rebranded GA Telesis Engines Services. GATES is a well-recognized MRO that is capable of overhauling CF6-80C2 and a variety of CFM56 engines.
Previously, Mr. Moabery served as Executive Vice President of Aviation Systems International, Inc., and as Director of Marketing and Sales at C-S Aviation Services, Inc. He also served in the United States Navy. He serves as a Trustee of Florida Atlantic University where he chairs the planning and athletic committees. He is President of the Wings Club Scholarship Fund and is an Adviser to several national and local children’s charities. Mr. Moabery is also a member of the ISTAT Appraiser’s Board of Governors.
