Each year, the GMAA organizes one of the peak events for the aviation industry: the Greater Miami Aviation Association’s Wright Brothers Memorial Awards Gala benefiting the GMAA-Batchelor Aviation Scholarship Fund.
The highlight of the Gala is the presentation of The Wright Brothers Memorial Award, an impressive and beautiful silver trophy cup with the engraved names of past recipients.
GMAA’s premier award is presented each year to an individual whose substantial contributions to the aviation industry reflect favorably on the aviation community and the State of Florida.
This year, several awards will be presented to outstanding individuals honoring their careers and involvement in the aviation industry.
