David Chaimovitz is the Founder and CEO of Setna, one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing integrated commercial aviation lessors, component suppliers, and MRO providers. With a decade at the helm, David brings extensive expertise in airframe and engine components, MRO operations, aircraft leasing, and the aviation supply chain. In his role as CEO, he oversees Setna iO, Setnix AZ, Setnix UK, Landing Gear Technologies, Zulu Global, and J&C Aero- all certified repair stations- and serves as principal investor and manager of Setna Aero Lease, which owns and operates-on-lease 12 narrowbody aircraft.

David has been recognized with multiple industry honors, including six Inc. 5000 awards, three Financial Times Fastest Growing Companies accolades, Airline Economics 40 Under 40, four 145 Top Shop awards, and a Crain’s 40 Under 40 cover feature. When not leading Setna, David can be found spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their 3 children- Leavitt, Sky, and Caspian- or on the mat practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
